Hi all.

We are re-locating to Charlotte and we were told Ballantyne is the nicest area to get a place in an apartment complex. I heard most of the pools at these complexes are only about 4 feet deep. Any one know of a complex in that area that actually has a deeper pool? Preferably 8 or 9 feet. Though after trying to do tons of research and not coming up with any answers, I'd settle for at least 6 or 7 feet.

Any advice would be super appreciated!

Thanks!

I have seen that as well and I believe that *maybe* the deeper pools don't meet some code - but I could be wrong. PM me and I will give you some info on Ballantyne.

Our lovely litigious society has all but done away with deep pools except at clubs or similar places where you must sign a waiver to join.

Trying to find a high-dive is even worse...

Some of the private country clubs offer summer pool privileges.

I can't even remember the last time I saw low diving board. Its a shame really. When I grew up, my apartment complex (and pretty much every other one in my town) had the huge pools that went from 3 to 9 ft deep, had at least one diving board, and had at least one long part where you do laps. You really don't see that anymore.

We have a pool in our complex in Ayrsley - which we refer to as the neighborhood "wading pool".

None that I know (Carmel, Myers Park, Quail Hollow), do tell...

Surely not Longview...maybe Ballantyne CC or Piper Glen CC?
