My cat isn't acting right at all. He just threw up and when I went to pick him up, he yelped. I have him resting on the bed with me right now. I'm due to work tonight at 5-930 and would like the name of an animal hospital that would be open after hours should I need to take him there. Anything in Huntersville/Concord area. I'm really concerned. Thanks

The only place I know of is in Matthews, sorry. Can you not take him right now before you have to go to work maybe?

Hi--hope your cat is doing OK. Here is a clinic open after hours in Kannapolis. I have called them to ask questions when my dog ate some strange things. I've never been into the clinic but they were very helpful over the phone.
Cabarrus Emergency Veterinary Clinic
1317 South Cannon Boulevard
Kannapolis, NC 28083

Well $356 later (would have spent $3k if needed) and they said it could be pancreatic. They did bloodwork and it was a little elevated but nothing huge. Xray's show a ball of some sort in the stomach but they think it could be stool backed up. They gave him fluids and a shot and said to keep an eye on him. They also gave me the xrays, bloodwork paperwork, referral and the name of the emergency clinic that's on Statesville Road should he decline this evening.
Dr. Frank was awesome and I highly recommend the place. They were absoutely packed!!
Thanks so much for you wishes. He is my world.

Oh himain, I am so distressed to hear about your kitty! I remember once you said you'd get rid of your beloved boyfriend before you'd ever get rid of your "baby" I do hope the rest of the night is uneventful. Hang in there.

Sending him lots of healthy energy! I'm sure it'll all get worked out and soon enough he'll be back to his old self!
