Before we left NJ, I called Directv and was told that I would be able to order the MLB package to watch the games. Well, lo and behold, none of the Yankee games will be broadcast on the MLB this season. As it turns out the YES Network only allows games to be shown in certain zip codes! None of them in this area. What's up with that Mr. Steinbrenner? Does this guy have any idea how many Yankee fans live in this area? I made a comment to my husband last night, that maybe we should just become Red Sox fans.....that did't go over too well! LOL!
Thanks for any input.
DId you buy the baseball package or just the yes net? You have to order MLB package to get the games.
I ordered dish Net to get the redsox this year and mlb blacks out all games not in certain zip codes. You can always go on mlb.com to watch the games.

GOOOOOOo Soxxxxx!

This is why charlotte needs its own MLB team. I think it would do pretty good attendance wise. Better than tampa bay.

We got the $139 "early-bird special" MLB package with Directv. We've watched every Yankee game, with the exception of those that get pre-empted.

GO YANKS!

I'm thinking that Mets bandwagon is more like a wheel barrel with one of the wheels coming loose.

As opposed to the Yankee bandwagon that's been more like a Rolls Royce ever since they signed Babe Ruth.
