Default Arlington Oaks Sub Division, Eastern Charlotte

Hi,
Does anyone have any information or knowledge of a sub division in the Eastern Charlotte area called Arlington Oaks ? There have been a few homes that would seem to be close to what we are looking for there. They appear to have been built in 2003, the ones that have interested us are all brick single level ranches on an acre (or more) of land. It states city water and sewer on one, but not the other. Also they both list gas hot air heat, but don't differentiate between propane or natural gas. We are retiring, so schools are not a major concern, good quality health care is though. Anyone have any information on this area ? While I'm asking, does anyone know of a site that lists the covenants for a given sub division, specifically if this one (Arlington Oaks) allows any type of fencing of the rear property for our dog. Thanks for any help someone might be willing and able to supply.

Bill

Bill, that's a good area of Mint Hill, east OF Charlotte. Definitely worth a look. There is a new hospital being built within minutes of that area.

Also, heat is most likely gas, not propane. You don't see much propane in neighborhoods around here.

Thanks again !! We would love it if it is natural gas. Meck county is a bit higher taxes as I recall, but on the map program I have from AT&T it looks like a great neighborhood. Also, wasn't your son coming up to NY for school (or that could just be my aging and dying memory, what's left of it, LOL) ? We're in Ct, I've spoke with you before, but I'm sure you don't remember me. We were going to move to Davidson, but got caught in the RE market drop (up here has been absolutely horrible), and the stock market drop, so we have to rethink our plans. Anyway as always you've been very sweet to answer and thank you again !!

I could never forgot someone so sweet and appreciative of my efforts to help Your memory has not failed you, and thanks so much for asking about my son, he's doing great! Sorry your Davidson plans fell thru, but looks like you are rolling with the punches and devising a new game plan - good for you!!! When do you plan to visit for your next look-see?

We'll be coming down for the race the end of May (22nd) and staying to look around at some other locations, Arlington Oaks area now being one of them. You are right we've had to kind of change some of our plans, but as much of a disappointment that that (don't look right) is, I can't complain compared to what some others are going through. I'm happy things are going well for your son, that's a big change up in NY I bet, he sure got to see a bunch of snow this year. Again thank you for your help, I hope we get neighbors like you where ever we end up !!
