We went to Luigi's today off 485 at the S. Tryon exit - Thought it was pretty good. We had pizza, chicken parm sub and garlic knots. I'd put it right behind Brooklyn South and Tony's. We'll definitely be back.

There's a pizza place in Whitehall Commons (S. Tryon - big shopping center with a WalMart) called Luigis - it has AWESOME NY pizza.

Thumbs up Looking For Great NY Pie?

Many former New Yorkers and other Yankees found their perfect Pie at UPSTATE PIZZA , which is located in South Charlotte, near Carolina Place Mall. They are family owned and operated, clean and experienced. Originally from Syracuse NY. Stone baked pizza and rich in taste sauce and quality cheese makes their pie perfect. We were with them for 2 years and no complaints....Try it, you won't regred it...I promise

I tried Upstate a while ago when they first opened. It was ok, but definitely not the bomb.

Has anyone else tried this place? I've never heard of it. From looking at their website, they're actually located in Pineville, not South Charlotte.

Groove, have you ever tried Paluso's? If so, what did you think?
