I like La Strada. Its not as good as Lorenzo's or Angela's IMO, however for me its a hop, skip, & a jump away from my house.....sometimes you have to tell them to make sure they cook the pizza "well done". I got a pie one time that wasn't fully cooked.....you can't do that.....

A tad pricey, but sometimes in the summer, its nice to eat the pie outside on the "patio".

La Strada Pizza & Pasta
Hey Coupon-have you tried the little Italian place in the HT center across from the Y? We tried La Strada's when we first moved in and it was a little pricey for pizza. Still haven't found a pizza place I love yet. I can't stand Donato's and all those little squares, I remember when I called and asked how many slices are in a med pizza and they were silent for a moment and said well it's cut in squares, insert my Scooby Doo "huhh" here. Wolfman is soggy to me and the pizza place at the Aboretium, the last pizza we got could have been a salt lick.

I would put Donato's one step above cat food....

Are you talking about the "siskey Y"? If you mean Mario's, yes I have it once in awhile...Its good. I'd put it on the level of Fontanella's by the Home Depot in Matthews.....their Antipaast is very good IMO...

bigdaddyd will become famous soon enough
There is no good pizza there. LaStrada is not good, and for goodness sakes it will cost you the price of a gourmet meal. Donatos down at Newtown is nasty. I would tell you....go to Angela's in Mint Hill. Its a drive, but its worth it.

LOL, I couldn't agree more about Donato's, I cringe everytime I see a new one open.

Mario's, yes that's it! I haven't been to Fontanella's either. I'll have to give them a try. Thanks!

That's the Donatos I went too, once! It was horrible. Looks like I'll have to tootle out to Angela's and give that a go too. Thanks bigdaddy!

We had a great little chain called Porky's Pizza in So Cal, wait I feel a tear welling up, to late, I miss Porky's!

LaStrada's round pie has good spices and is tasty but TOO SMALL, their Sicilian pie has WAY TOO much sauce and is God awful bland. Yes the prices are too high but their the best in the area for now.

I hate LaStrada, it's pricey and I'd rather eat the box.

PS: Anyone hear about a place called Lorenzo's?
