Can someone please provide the subdivisions in South Charlotte within 10 miles of Ballantyne/Piper Glen areas with mature landscapes? I really don't like the newly built areas that do not have trees or shrubs yet. I like tall trees with established landscape.

Thanks

We would need price point to be of any real assistance. Generally speaking, neighborhoods inside Hwy 51 would have mature landscaping, as would Raintree . . . in Matthews, subdivisions such as Shannamara . . .

we were looking for that, too, when house hunting in the area. We started out in ballantyne and ended up buying in Wesley Chapel (just past Weddington). Our neighborhood, Price Mill, has mature trees on the lots b/c the builders didn't tear them all down when developing the neighborhood. Not only is it attractive but it also helps with privacy and shading on the yards. Good luck in your search.

I would look in area 5 . . . saw a really nice home I liked at Providence Country Club recently and one in Berkeley as well. I like traditional and all brick - and lots around 1/2 acre and prefer the very solid construction of older homes. If you are looking for that, then you might find something in area 5. If you want something new . . . then you may not find what you are looking for in that area.

Thanks. I like the Providence area as well. I'm just wondering what other subdivisions are available in the $350-$460 range with mature landscapes. I don't have a preference for new or old build.
