there are actually a couple of waterfront lots in Sailview available for a similar price..I don't know anything about them though

Yes, yes it most definitely is.... on Mountain Island Lake. Its smaller (and much quieter I imagine) than Lake Wylie and definitely Lake Norman. Its also about the most affordable and least developed. I saw some for sale in the 300's and 400's. They might not be Mcmansions or new, or in a froo-froo subdivision but lake living can be yours.

There is a compromise. There is Whitby Pond, (off of Sharon Amity)which is close to a giant shopping center or two. There just might be a new construction there around 400-500...I'm just not sure if there's fish in there...i hope there is.

hmmm... the ones I saw were around $379K and up... ahwell, guess I missed out!
