Ive never been there, but what about pasta provisions? they list that they offer italian cookies also. I had some of their food, and it was good too.

It's not a bakery, but Ferrucci's Old Tyme Italian market in Cornelius has some packaged Italian cookies that I'm assuming they ship in from NY. (ones with jelly in the middle) Cuuuute little market, awesome customer service, with tons of great stuff imported from NY!!!!
