Morning All-Chi I hope you make it through your work day.
We had rain about 2:30AM, which was desperatly needed. I did my rain dance yesterday as I hand watered my plants and shrubs. My impatients were so wilty and I couldn't "hope" that it would rain. I knew if I watered it would most likely rain.
Got my 2nd guest room painted and chair rail up! Still need to paint the trim, that's easy. It looks so nice. Now just sprucing up the house for our company's Wed arrival, I can hardly wait!

I knew you would somehow manage to get it all done! HOORAY! I know it looks terrific.
We didn't get but a few drops of rain here - glad you all got some in your area. It is cloudy here so hopefully we will get a shower.
Desk work to do . . . just wanna go plant some more stuff outside!!! |

Back in CLT after a road trip to take the kids to Niagara Falls.
Fun.
We left them with their cousins in Youngstown, OH, and will retrieve them this coming weekend.
First week the wife and I have been childless since 2000.
It's odd, but they are having a blast.
So are we...

hi, all...survived the day without falling asleep! actually, this was the first day since I've been back that I felt human!

Thanks Chi, I know your right, I just want everything to look nice. She is my best friend, you're never too old to have a best friend. We met when we were 12! So she is pretty much my sis, her parents are my parents etc. I haven't seen her for 2 years  , so I am beyond excited.  |
