You aren't kidding! After we got our 69 Camaro he was thinking about getting another Camaro and I told him I didn't care what year it was, but I at some point in my life wanted a Vette, so that's what we got instead a 69 Vette. Found it through a friend for a great price we couldn't pass up.

I had a 65 Bug, then a 79 Bug Convertible (triple black) - wish I still had it....

When I was but a wee lad my parents had two bugs.
My mom's was yellow, and my dad's was green - LOL.

Car seats? Pffft.
I stood up on the front seat and rode all over Charlotte.

Nice, my father had a 64....then I came along and he 'upgraded' to the above mentioned green VW Bug.
I am pretty sure he still holds that against me.
