I think the Catholic church included Revelations in the Bible just to scare the hell outta all of us.
If a person is Christian, all he/she needs to know is that Christ said he would come back - but we wouldn't know when. So it seems counterintuitive to be concerned about the when of it all. If one has faith, then it doesn't matter "when."

Yeah, but Catholics don't believe in the Rapture in the sense some Christians do, nor do they believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible, and certainly not Revelations which is the most difficult book of the Bible to interpret.
