Well, I am hoping Chi has made it through lunch now. This happened when I was in high school but I remember reading the story in the newspaper and it turned out to be my 3rd grade teachers wife, she opened a can of spinach and when she poured the spinach in the pot, out came a whole mouse!
Yuck!
LOL, what was annoying about the grasshopper was that he hopped away. I was too stunned to catch him while he looked at me. Without him, I couldn't very well complain about the protein on the hoof, in the salad & my companion declared that he didn't see it.

It was alive! OMG, that even makes it 10 times worse. If that thing would have jumped out of my salad, the table would have been flying. I have a huge grasshopper phobia.

ROFL, yes, it was alive!
I started eating the salad & a little green head popped up & looked at me. Then he hopped out, looked back at me, & hopped away.
I asked the boyfriend if he saw it & first got "what?", then he wanted to know why I thought he'd be watching my salad. He told me that it was just proof that the salad was fresh.
my loud & vicious lab mix started barking early this morning (she is inside, so, only bothering ME)...guess she was barking at the school kids, don't know. Don't like to stop her, gotta keep the rep of having this loud & vicious dog going... But, I am a bit bleery this morning...

My Labby decided to do his loud sloppy licking, oh sorry, grooming at 4:30 this morning! He finally went back to sleep, DH and I, not so much.
