Default need help with birthday ideas 43
My girlfriend's birthday is in April. She lives in University City. Recovering from breast cancer - it's been a full year. She is single. She is typically a partyier. Sometimes she comes along with me and DH. She'd probably enjoy a night of dancing and dinner but, I was hoping to make this year more than typical. Any ideas? I just want something special and I'm not coming up with any ideas on my own.

I considered House of Jazz but the reviews are awful!

Is anyone aware of another jazz venue that would be nice for a birthday?

Or direct me to calendar events in April?

If feasible, take a drive to Atlanta. Make it a girl's night out--a day at a dayspa where she is pampered. Enjoy a nice dinner than go to a jazz spot, where she's able to people watch and listen to cool music. Your friend will be delighted that you put in so much effort to make her day special.

This certainly could be done in Charlotte as well, dinner and jazz at Blue.
