OK, I'll take a stab at this one. I am unfamiliar with Picadilly, but looked it up on the web. From what I can gather, it is inexpensive family type dining.

So, I think maybe your friend is talking about SHOMARS. There are 7 locations in Charlotte. Shomars is known for their Gyros and fish sandwichs. Extensive menu of every type of food you can imagine. Alot of Dads I know take the kiddies there for Sat. AM breakfast while Mom sleeps

I personally only eat breakfast there. Breakfast special of egg over easy/grits/sausage/toast for around $3.00!

DH and kids love Shomars, although not one of my favorites. Tuesdays kids eat for $1.25 and they usually have a balloon artist on hand. We usually go once a month (on Tuesdays) with a group of other families where we crowd the back room with lots of children and babies and have a grand old time.
