Since you work in that field already, I shouldn’t have to tell you this; as I’m sure you understand, that, in general, that is a declining industry (Call Centers). Many of those jobs are being shipped over to India and the Charlotte companies are no exception. However, Charlotte does have a fair amount of these jobs and it appears more are coming. I posted these two in other threads…

The Cincinnati-based company provides human resources and billing services. It is also the largest third-party customer-contact service provider in the world.

IBM mortgage unit sets up in Charlotte
Company will provide loan processing services

IBM Corp. has launched a new business unit in Charlotte that aims to help mortgage lenders with back-office processing functions.
The Armonk, N.Y., technology giant has already hired about 60 people at its campus in University Research Park off W.T. Harris Boulevard. As the business grows, the unit plans to expand to "several hundred" employees, said Greg Sullins, the unit's executive director.
