Not your usual request...
Hey everyone!! We're a pretty close knit group, as groups go, so I have a special rquest. There is a young lady from Concord, whose mom is a friend of one of our church members. Anyway, this 17 year old girl is critically ill, and on Sunday was transfered to Duke Childrens Hospital. I'd like to ask each of you to pray (if you dont pray, send positive thoughts ) for her. Great things are accomplished through prayer! Here is a Facebook link, that has some pictures of her, as well as info and updates. Thank you all!!

Hoagie, thank you for sharing this info with us. Yes, we are a close knit community. I like to think that even if we have differing opinions, there is still much respect for one another on this forum.
I know there are hundreds of others on the forum who will be pleased to include this young lady in their prayers. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to participate in showing concern for a member of the community who needs support.

Hoagie, some other folks that I know have brought her up for prayer! We might be closer than you think!
Anyway, she apparently had a severe reaction to the flu, isn't that right? Please, let's all pray for her!

That's exactly right, Chicago!
Its so cool to me how many people we are connected to through other people. I firmly believe in 6 degrees of separation. Anyway- thanks for the prayers!!
