I checked older threads and found positive comments on the subdivision. My husband checked out a house in that subdivision that's been on the market for over 6 months. Is this typical of Providence Pointe? Can anyone comment on the neighborhood currently: is it still the family friendly, community focused neighborhood it was described as a year ago? According to Zillow the house I'm looking at is actually in Ballantyne West. Is that accurate?

Still working on selling our own house first but wanted to keep up with the housing opportunities in the S. Charlotte area.

I have several friends that live there including a few agents in my office. Past clients that have purchased are still very pleased.

I'm in the neighborhood quite often at friends homes hanging out on week nights and the weekends. It's very common to drive through pretty much at anytime of the day and find people walking around, in the yards, and hanging out chatting in driveways.

One of my favorite neighborhoods personally. I've never heard one bad thing about it to be honest.

There are a lot of homes for sale there so that's why you will see some sit for awhile. It's a new neighborhood and they are still building in there (townhomes etc)

They are finished building homes and have been for a while now. The townhomes up near the side/front are the only thing still under construction. They are completely out of the way and don't interfere with the rest of the neighborhood at all.
