Hello All!! I just wanted to know your thoughts on Insurance/Financial Reps. in the Charlotte Area. I have over 4 years experience with State Farm in Miami and I am pondering the thought of joining your great city. Thanks for all of your inputs.

I am in the same industry and from what I can tell there are a few. I am currently with CHUBB and they are down there along with Zurich, AIG, Nationwide, Allstate etc. do a search for insurance companies and insurance brokerage firms then go into each of their websites for NC jobs. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the words of reassurance. I have read so many negative job blogs that I was very concerned.

Hi there! I'm also contemplating a relocation to the Charlotte area and have been wondering the same thing... I work in professional liability claims and am in the very early stages of trying to find something down there. Fortunately, it looks like Charlotte, much like Des Moines (where I am currently) has a lot of opportunity in the insurance/financial services sector.

I know liberty mutual has a center here in Charlotte, Allstate has a location in the university area, some of the banks hire licensed insurance reps.

I know someone else with state farm, they went on to work for state farm in TN.

Where are all of these located together? I don't need exact directions but I'm curious as to what side of the city they are on, east, west, south, north, airport, etc.?
