Exactly, the only thing that has changed really to the roads on the Gilead exit since I moved here in '88 is they took out the big curve coming up from Cedarfield and put in a light. Other than that it is the same road. It just has more people on it and bigger buildings beside it!

Everywhere time I go out I see couples, tons of single guys, and families in the Huntersville, Mooresville, Lake Norman area. Don't get me wrong, great place if that fits you. But I am ready to shoot myself after 14 months here. There is just nothing for 28 + single guys who are not from the south in Huntersville.
I am 31, single, live in Huntersville, and as I always say: if you are bored, you are not trying hard enough to meet people or find things to do.

Huntersville is 20 minutes from uptown. 20 minutes! If you spend all your time in Huntersville, just like any other "burb" anyone will go mad. However, for the days/nights when you decide to stay in Huntersville, there are TONS of groups of singles at the lake! Seriously, get involved in CHOA or something....people in our age group are always having lake parties, meeting at the Rudder or Vinnies, meeting at the Corkscrew, running/playing tennis in groups, etc.
