While perusing the local nursery this weekend, I came across a new plant called a "Dwarf Pomegranate":

Monrovia.com : Learn : Plant Catalog : Plant Detail : DWARF POMEGRANATE

The details mention that it's a good companion plant for Lantana. Since I use lots of Lantana around the mailbox down by the side of the road, I was thinking about possibly adding this in.

Does anyone have any experience with using these in the landscape?

What a cute little schrub and it's deer resistant! Sounds pretty good to me, I say go for it. I was actually going to make a trip to the nursery this week, I'll have to check it out.
