Good Morning. I'm trying to help my FMIL find a place for our rehearsal dinner. She wants to find a facility where she can bring in the caterer. Our reception is at the Citizens Center, so I'd really rather not have the rehearsal there also. Just trying to see if anyone knows of something I can't find on the internet. Thanks! Oh.....and late Fall wedding.
Soiree right down the street from the Mack Center. They will rent the entire upstairs for private parties. I'm not certain John will allow outside food. You would have been better to switch your reception and dinner with the Mack Center and Soiree.
Breezy Meadows Farm on Linwood Rd in Mooresville has a very large, clean nice barn with a large inside area and restroom facilities. Their number is 704-663-3219 web is Home Page I have seen a wedding and rehearsal dinner that was beautiful! Did not look like a barn! Totally different and would be perfect for a fall rehearsal!

Have you thought about trying some of the Lake Norman vacation rental homes in Mooresville?
If it is in the fall many offer nightly rates.
You can try one of the Mecklenburg County Parks and Rec indoor facilities. We had our reception at one in South Charlotte (William Davie) and they are very nice and reasonable. Maybe one in North Charlotte?

Not sure how many people you need to seat, or how "nice" a place you want, but the how about the VFW building on North Main St. I've been to several birthday parties(adult) there. Large open area for tables,small stage area and a kitchen.Worth looking into. If you need to know who to contact for info you can pm me
Thanks everyone! We ended up picking Birkdale Golf Club and we're using their catering services. I wish I had known about the barn option! Good to remember for in the future.
