News Flash!!!! I am a Democrat and am FURIOUS at our government. This is about our government stealing from us. If you aren't upset, you aren't paying taxes. I was mad when Bush signed his "stimulus" package and am even more ticked off that Obama signed his. This is a bi-partisan effort. Not a Republican or whatever else you want to call it. This is America taking a stand. Get used to it.

Ummm, you DO realize we're talking about vast size differences, don't you?

Looks like it was a pretty civil affair. Hope there weren't any borderline racist expressions like I saw in rallies in some other cities.

I do find it a bit ironic though that it's government spending that's keeping the banks in Charlotte afloat. I voted for Obama and I wish the government would have let them fail, including BOA.

Quite a few of us took time off from work, or like me, went back to work afterward to make up the time I missed. AND there were minorities there. Quite a few. One was even a speaker. Finally, if McCain were POTUS and spending like this, yes, we would be out there also. Our government is out of control and the American people are tired of it.

What things do you want to not include in the tax code? I'm partial to stopping the War on Terror, Drugs, Iraq , Eurasia and Eastasia. I don't want to pay for them anymore. Also I don't want to bail out BoA, as I use Wachovia. And, I don't want to pay for schools, cus, well I don't have any kids. I don't want to pay for welfare, I'm not poor. I don't have to commute for work since I work from home, so I don't want to pay for roads either, I'll just ride my bike. Not gonna pay social security, I can buy stocks wholesale and tax deffered thanks to my 401k match.

I'm glad to see you all exercising your freedom of speech and assembly, lets hash this out and fix our stupid goverment and get that (legaly elected by the popular vote president) socialist out of office before he's been their for a whole 100 days.
