I am relocating to Charlotte soon and am considering living in the East Blvd area of Dilworth. Can any current residents of this area give me any information on safety in this area, and what apartment/condo buildings to look at or avoid? Thanks!

The Tremont is a new condo being done. It will be very pretty since the style of the building will be in the "Arts & Craft" asthetic. It is very unique since alot of condos being done now have a very modern look to it while this project meshes ultra modernity with the traditional look of Dilworth. As for safety much of Dilworth is very safe with good schools.

You can go to charmeck.org and click on "Neighborhoods", then go to the 2006 Quality of Life Study for a color coded map of Charlotte showing crime stats, demographics, etc. Dilworth is considered a very safe area. If you'd like to view condos you can go to my website found under my profile and do a propety search. Dilworth is Area 5, or you can type in Dilworth in subdivision, even though it's not a subdivision but a community. Let me know if I can help.

If money were no object, I'd live in Dilworth!

There are quite a few new condo projects up there, but also some really cool old 4-plexes. Here's one example of an older (and more affordable) one:

There's also a new complex at Tremont & Euclid that's relatively affordable.
