I am in need of legal advice regarding separation/divorce.
I had been un-employed for a couples of years, so I can not afford "big shots" lawyers, but I need help. Child custody, alimony, equity distribution; etc.

I had been researching online and came accross with a couple of web sites -divorce4her.com, rosen.com.

I'd like to have some references from anyone familiar with this services.

check out CL "divorce" forum. There are a lot of people on there...some will just flame you and give you stupid advice, but there are a lot of people who will tell you some GREAT advice too. (Craigslist.org)

You should seek out attorney's that offer free consultation, there a few out there. You can also contact the North Carolina bar and may be able to receive a reduced rate along with a referral.

Good luck this is a trying time.

Have you heard about the online service called Complete Case dot com? I saw it on NBC that you can complete a whole divorce process online for only a few hundred bucks, but the divorce has to be amicable and you and your spouse agree on how to divide assets, child support, etc.
