Is this a serious thread?

I recall shootouts there 30 years ago, and in the past few years we have the 'Hidden Valley Kings' gang who have killed police.
Featured on the History Channel nationwide on a 'Gang' episode...

Personally I would not live there if they paid me.

I agree UC is NOT a bad place but Mike here has spent HOURS of his time trying to prove that it is; I was trying to save him time by reiterating the main points of his arguments.

But guys, Mike REALLY needs our help...he especially needs help understanding that Hidden Valley is considered "north Charlotte", not the "University area". Poor guy, he's so confused!

Amen! But then again following his logic maybe I can say my UC home is actually South Charlotte and list it for $200K instead of $138K... Or we can say NC is actually more up North than in the South of the US and all our home values can go up a $200K...

hahahaha - hey, he might start a whole new trend!

gkleoni, maybe we need to do a better job here a handing out city maps to newcomers? You and I could stand out on I77 south tossing them at every car we see with out of state plates. It could be our way of "giving back" to the community - not so many lost yankees roaming the streets of Birkdale thinking they've found Ballantyne

The History Channel is Showing its show titled "Gang Land" and the current episode is about Charlotte, NC. They are focussing on the Hidden Valley area and thats why the OP started the thread trying to be funny.

If only this were true... Take a look at Mike's post's through his profile and you will quickly catch up with what we are all referring to... He seems to be on a mission and we are all kind of sick of hearing it.
