Are there any cricket clubs in Charlotte where you can play Cricket for fun?
I am very interested in playing. I have heard of Steel Creek, do they still play? Also, South Charlotte Cricket Club, but I think they are serious league players.

I received this note from some Australian Friends. I replaced the @ with at and the. with dot just in case!

"PS As a side note, some of you may have met Rob Beyersdorf who is part of the North Carolina Tigers Australian Rules Football Club (based in Raleigh ). They are looking to play a game in Charlotte later this year and he has asked me to provide his info to anyone who may be interested in learning more about that event (playing or spectating), or any of their other upcoming games. Please reply to Rob at rbeyer at mcpolymers dot com if you would like to be added to their "everyone list" which is used to promote club events "

Of course there is always Gaelic Football (slightly different rules) and the link for that is Charlotte Gaelic Football Club

Hi,

I've just landed in Charlotte for a few months and look for some cricketing action. Season ball/softball matches are cool. Just feel like going out there, shooting a few fast ones and hitting some sixers.

Any pointers to friendly groups playing over the weekends would be great.

Thanks,
Mayank
