Are there many 20- or 30-something married couples, without kids in Charlotte? Seems like most everyone on this board has kids. I have nothing against kids...just wondering if the majority of Charlotteans are either married with kids or single, and not married without kids (older couples with their grown kids out of the home don't count )?

Hubby and I are wondering if we'll have a difficult time finding couples like us in the south Charlotte suburbs? Here, couples with kids seem to be generally disinterested in hanging out with couples who can't talk with them about parenthood, PTA, schools, etc. Anyone know?

Young Couple here.

We are both 27. We have a 5 year old but it doesn't hold us back and between the two of us only one other group has kids.

My husband and I too are a little older and are enjoying the Ballantyne area. There are a lot of young and middle aged professionals in this area with no children or as in our case, grown children. You would probably be comfortable in the South Charlotte area.
