Where exactly do you live? There is Odalys at the beginning of Independence Blvd, also in the Compare Foods in 74. If you live towards Matthews there is a Colombian Bakery that have also a great variety of Pastries, Breads and many other delicious treats.
Good luck!
Gracias Karmar! I ended up going to Odalys. I'll let everyone know how the pastries taste tomorrow. Thanks for the info on the Colombian bakery. I'll definitely be trying that too! Sounds good!

There's a few Mexican bakeries on South Blvd, one near a Dominican restaurant called Punta Cana comes to mind. If you google Mexican bakeries South Blvd, a few will pop up.

I saw An Odaly's sign up at the intersection of 29 & 73, where Denali's Family Medicine is and the Bakery Bear used to be. I don't think it is open yet. Based upon your vote of confidence, I can't wait to try it. I get so dissappointed in privately owned/run bakeries that make too much product , but don't throw out the stale stuff. That's the only reason that I stopped going . AND I love my desserts. Too bad for me and loss of business.

For anyone that is up North off the 77 IREDELL COUNTY...There is a new Mexican bakery just like the ones in Mexico with the large silver trays...well, their pans (bread), flan (custard), tres leches (moist flavored cake), and donuts were fresh and tasted good.

Their sign just say's Panaderia (Bakery) and the owner ones one in Hickory and Statesville.
