Sooo not funny!! My heart dropped for a second. My immediate thought was, "And I asked these people for opinions/experiences with MI!!!"

I'd say it helps them get things rolling. I know they have sold 8 lots this year! But then again the prices are ridiculous!

Our house is worth about 20-30K less than we paid for it but we closed heat of the market in 2007, not planning on selling anytime soon.

Wished we had done some things differently but thats more with the options that we choose, really glad for instance we had them prewire for fans in all the rooms etc.

That's the other benefit of buying early; they have seriously reduced their available options for just about everything. We got in to the Design Center the week before they went in and took it all out. I think we made some really smart choices, ex. venting the micro outside, gas water heater/stove, glass semi-frameless shower door, cherry cabinets matching throughout the house... We compromised on the flooring (except the tile); we did standard flooring everywhere and will be putting in hardwoods and better carpet in 2 years at half the cost. It has been a great experience thus far!

Microwave venting outside was one off the best things we did.

On the flooring we upgraded the pad only, but kept the vinyl, why pay for tile etc over 30 years.

Default Update...

Got in the offer, below our asking but no CC's. We are definitely going to do a counter offer and see what happens! Thanks for everyone's well wishes. I'll let you know once we sell!

I did this (venting the range hood/microwave combo) on both the homes I have had built. IMO, it's absolutely a requirement for good cooking. It was once common on homes but you rarely see it now.

Heyyyyyyyyyyyy. We were wondering what happened!

Sounds like you have a serious buyer focused on price. Make it happen and good luck! Your doing good on the buying end so keep that in mind

Woo hoo!!! Had a new person look yesterday just when the offer came in and they are interested too!! Things are starting to look good, nothing like a little competition to make things interesting!!! We sent them our counter offer and advised there is a second interested party. Second party will be sending an offer sometime this week! Thanks again everyone looks like all that positive energy and prayers are taking us in a good direction.
