can someone tell me a little about the mooresville area?? I was looking into waxhaw, but mooresville looks nice too, and the houses seem a little cheaper. I know that waxhaw has good schools. Are mooresville schools comparable?? Is it a nice area?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!!! Mike

Mooresville schools are great. I would rate them in the top ten best in NC. Gettin' crowded, but whats crowded for one person may not be crowded for another.

Mooresville is raising their taxes, still less than Charlotte. Quaint down town. Rail road runs right down the middle of it.

Traffic can get a little hectic at times especially when the race comes to town. Alot of people are moving from Charlotte to Mooresville. Overall the main benefits of moving to Mooresville would be the schools, smaller setting with all the accoutrement’s of Charlotte, and the standard of living in Mooresville.

Mooresville is much bigger than Waxhaw. So it might depend if you want to be in a "small town" or "large suburb". Mooresville has many more stores and restaurants.

Yes exactly. Mooresville is booming and a couple years from now will no longer have the cheap houses and quieter living than Charlotte.

I was in Mooresville today- It felt like New Hampshire to me.

There were a lot of bikes everywhere - motorcycles
Of course, I was at Lazy Five Ranch to see the animals, so i felt like we were in the middle of nowhere

but it took like 15 minutes to Northlake Mall
