So glad. Your doing the drill is a great way to practice! My son had never gone thru/ a tornado drill til we moved to KS and it made him feel a lot better to know where to go and what to do.  |

It will be hit or miss the whole way up. You might run into torrential rain/hail for a couple of minutes then be clear...
Be careful going up 321 once you get past Lenoir. The weather is a crapshoot up there....
Those steep incline roads can be slippery especially when your running into high winds/inclement weather..... |

SSD: Son says it is raining miserably up there and that it has gotten so chilly, they have turned the gas heat on in the house. So be sure to dress warmly and wear stuff for rain, too.
