I would like to network with some LPN's and RN'S, I am moving to Concord very soon and have a few leads, but I would like others in this area to tell me what the job market is like for LPN's and some places that are hiring? I love homecare doing skilled nurse visits, can someone please help? Thankyou.

I work for a home care company, here in Charlotte. They keep me as busy as I want to be- sometimes busier. Pay is decent for the cost of living here. If you'd like a name, and contact info, send me a PM.

I'm an RN here in Charlotte, and although I don't know much about the LPN job market, I do know that there are many open nursing positions with Carolinas Healthcare System (CHS) (a large network of hospitals, clinics, physician's offices, etc in the Charlotte area) / Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) (the biggest of CHS's hospitals, located in uptown Charlotte). I work at CMC hospital, and it's great if you like big hospitals (which I do; this one has 775 beds - it's where all the good traumas get sent - lots of excitement!). It's not far from Concord (I work with a couple people who live in that area). Here's a link to their career center website:
Carolinas HealthCare System -

Feel free to pm me with any specifics. Good luck!

Hahaha oops, Sheila...sorry, I didn't even realize it was you until I'd already posted that same info that I'd told you before, in another post! Haha sorry for being such a ditz - I just responeded without looking at the OP's name!

Default Lpn/nurse jobs

kleigh and hoagie thanks so much for the info on nursing. I will look into the hospital even tho I have not worked in a hospital in 20 years! I love homecare and am leaning toward that, does the hospital have a homecare?
