what? so you expect management to hire perfect servers? You never know how someone is going to work out until you put them on the floor a few times and put them under pressure
being understaffed doesn't necessarily mean poor management IMO. I'm not taking their side, but you think Donald Trump hires perfect people 100% of the time?

It is a new concept for that area. Opening a restaurant is not only about "serving, preperation, or delivery of the food".
Ruth's Chris, Morton's, Outback, Lone Star are all steak houses, yet they all have a different business model, concept.
McDonald's, Burger King, Hardees...all fast food places that serve burgers. Same type food, different concept, different business model.
Target, Walmart, K-Mart...get it?

A quote from B.O. comes to mind: "you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig!" A new concept with a different business model correct?

Editing my quote in your post is a show of character. I can't answer someone who is dishonest.

I wouldn't classify my offbeat attempt at humor as a display of character or dishonesty, that would be a bit of a stretch. Things were getting much too serious in this thread as was mentioned in the post or two above yours. Lighten up and enjoy the "dishonest", playful, tension relieving banter. Plenty of other serious threads to get your teeth into (pun intended).
peace,

Amazing. If you go to a restaurant...and you don't care for it (for whatever reason)...don't go back. Simple enough.
I'm another non-fan of Outback (and Olive Garden for that matter). No biggie - I just never go to either one.
