charlotte crime
Hey guys were thinking of relocating to charlotte due to the job market in greensboro and other personal issues... Were on an extremely low income (we can't go over 500$ a month) plus we have 3 dogs so i know were gonna probally have to get in a less appealing side of the city as we are here in greensboro. I just can't seem to find out about the bad sections of the city there, i've heard mixed reviews from EVERY section of the city. Is there even a good side of the city? I'm aware crimes in every city so please don't try and lecture me about that because were already quite aware of living in crime. Can somebody please give me sections of the city to stay away from? Like the WORST areas of the city
thanks.

The first order of business would be to get a job. Then, you can sort out where you would live.

There are options on the north side of the city in your price range but not for the animals.

Have you thought about other smaller towns around Charlotte, rather than right in Charlotte?

Also, have you considered the RDU area? There is a lot of affordable housing surrounding and inside of Durham. Some of the older houses. I know it gets a bad rep for crime but I've never known it to be worse than anywhere else. Also, and trust me, I've watched the ENTIRE state's job market... most positions are more plentiful in RDU than Charlotte.
good luck with your move.

I can't think of a single apt that will let you have 3 dogs - it's just not gonna happen. You will need to find a home to rent from an individual, and you are right, in your price range that is NOT going to be easy. I'd suggest you not try to live in Charlotte itself - sorry.
