My kids go to a Meck. County charter school, but we live in Union County. As long as you live in NC there shouldn't be a problem...at least that is what I was told. It would be different if it was a public school, but I thought the same rule applied to the private schools. Have you checked with the school?
Also, I don't understand why this will affect your healthcare plan.
(Union County is in NC, there shouldn't be any significant changes.)
