We are moving to Charlotte and will be renting a two bedroom apartment for a while. I was wondering what the rentals are like in the Myers Park area?

Decent neighborhood?
Updated apartments?

Meyers Park is one of the nicest areas in Charlotte to live, IMO. Depending on where you live within Meyers Park, you could be walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Where, as in what part of the city, will you be working? What's your budget for an apartment?

My husband and I are retired. My husband is 63, and I am 59.

We wanted to keep the rent cost under $1,000.00 per month for a two bedroom..........if that is workable.

Is it?

Thanks!

I would think you should be able to find something nice in that price range. There are lots of shops/restaurants around the South Park Mall area. Please note, this is one of the more expensive neighborhoods to live in, so I'm certain that the apartments in that area are going to reflect that, as well.
