Aqua North Carolina (water bill) Thanks Ron Brown
Can you believe the increase in the water bill at a time when Americans are loosing their jobs.
Aqua North Carolina just increased the rate of the sewer charge to $50.66 from $35, plus the water rates.
If you are pissed off at the increase in utilities call Ron Brown at 919-733-3979 and let this guy know how you feel. He is the guy that allows these utility companies to increase their rates. Shame on this guy.

I unfortunately have Aqua and can't believe it. I saw we all constantly flush our toilets constantly to decrease their profit margin!!!

Call Ron Brown
I say we call Ron Brown and fill up his voice mail everyday until he lowers our bill to a resonable increase. I know I have called him twice now. All I ever get is his voice mail.
I want to find out the process he takes to get the reason for the increase.

I think its a crying shame that a co. that has as much money as they have to hurt americans that are allready herting as thay are.Just another example of GREAD without compasion for there fellow americans. Darn shame!

Duke Energy is also looking to increase rates, 12.6% although the rate increase wouldn't start if passed until Jan 2010.

I say we ought to reward Ron! Do your "duty", stick it in a secure box, and mail it to this guy! That would remind him he's "full of it" in terms of looking out for the little guy and the public interest!  |

Another Increase for Aqua NC
Can you believe they had another increase to our sewer bill. Now this month it went up to $63.33. I just called Aqua 1-877-987-2782 and told them to come and turn off my water. I can not afford over $1200 a year for my water and sewer.
They told me it was to better the water for us. I have permanent brown rings in my toilets that are stained from this water. And they say the water is better. I can't even drink this water and now I have to pay over $1200 a year for it. Shame on this company.

Finally got to talk to Ron Brown
Ron Brown is part of the commission that says it is OK to double our utilities in NC.
He said Aqua NC applied for for the over 100% increase and the Public Staff who represent us,The Residents of NC, said it was OK. Then it goes to the Utilities Commission, which Ron Brown is apart of, and they had a hearing and decided YES for the over 100% increase in our water bill.
