No. I miss my Wegmans so much! Harris Teeter is close in quality, but the prices are dramatically (double!) higher. Trader Joe's is closer to similar price, but the selection is less. I end up paying what I did at Wegmans in PA for Walmart brand here! My solution is to do Trader Joe's for as much as I can and supplementing with Target or Walmart for non-perishables.

According to the Wegman's website they only have 72 stores located in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and Maryland.

Wegman's is da bomb!

I never thought I'd get excited over a grocery store, but the place is incredible. They've only been here (VA) for a couple years...and are very crowded on weekends. My wife used to have to drag me to the grocery store, but I look forward to going to Weg's. They literally have everything and then some....and routinely beat all the competition around here on price (no Super Walmarts here, though).

They'll probably make it to Charlotte one day, but I hope they don't over-expand and lose their magic. One thing that limits them is their policy of not going into strip malls....they want to be a "destinantion" in their own right. This takes a lot of land....
