About how long would a commute from Matthews to Uptown Charlotte take, if you are going to the Bank of America corporate center (intersection of tryon and trade)? Mapquest says 24 minutes, but I am sure that with rush hour traffic it is more....Anyone have a guess to how long that commute would be in rush hour?
Also, are there times in which the rush hour traffic is particularly bad? (i.e., 7-8 or 8-9)? Where I live now, everyone gets to work at 9, so rigt before 9 is the worst, but I've heard its different down there.

It really depends on where in Matthews you would be coming from. Even best case scenario you won't make it in 24 minutes without leaving at 6:30.
In south Charlotte/Matthews traffic gets heaviest from right before 7 until almost 9 o'clock. Afternoons are heavy from about 4:45 to 6:45.

Say I was coming from downtown Matthews area, around 8:00. How long would that be w/traffic? About 40 minutes?
