To be fair, I think she only came here from Philly in the first place because she was divorcing her husband, and me and our other sister live down here. So she probably just wanted to be near family during a trying time...

If she loves San Antonio, there really is no place else quite like it! It is a very interesting spot to land. She sounds ready for an adventure, so I hope it all works out really well for her (and I suspect it will!).

She will definitely be happier with the weather if she wants it hotter, LOL!!!!

It just amazes me the # of newcomers who come here " just to get a larger house"...Like you said they think the path to charlotte is "easy street and its not....It really burns me up when i hear acquaintances that are natives say that they lost out on potential employment opportunities to newcomers to the area....I love Charlotte but I am pondering about moving potentially out west to the New Mexico/Arizona area because there are more career opportunites.

But surely you can't blame a business for appointing the best applicant for the job?
