Local Area Regional Transportation Public Meeting - 5/27 6:30-8:30 Rea View ES

The Local Area Regional Transportation Planning Group has scheduled a general public meeting on Wednesday, May 27, to present draft recommendations of the transportation plan for Western Union County. This meeting will be an open house format with stations set up around the room illustrating the major draft recommendations of the Plan. The Planning Group will gather the public’s comments/feedback and will put together a draft report which will be presented to each town.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting. The meeting is sponsored by Marvin, Waxhaw, Weddington, Wesley Chapel, Mecklenburg-Union Metropolitan Planning Organization and the Centralina Council of Governments.
The public meeting will be held Wednesday, May 27 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Rea View Elementary School (320 Reid Dairy Rd. – see map on attached flier). This is a drop-in event. For additional information email questions or comments to lartp@mabtrans.com.
