Plenty of educated people in other places.
Fayetteville is one of the top racially diverse cities in America and thet celebrate that every Fall!

I've lived in Hope Mills the last 6 years and don't believe it is that bad. Go by the Hope Mills Walmart anyday to see plenty of mixed couples of all types. I see just as many (if not more) lower income local mixed couples as I do middle income/educated/military mixed couples. Around here...
I'm a race mixer too by the way. My wife is asian. I guess the "good ole boys" would not like me any better.

wcond1 - You should probably repost this on the Triangle board. Perhaps a mod can start a new thread for you. I think you will be pleased to receive the same feedback you have read in this thread.
Interestingly the OP has not made another post and hasn't been active since 5-24. sharonekd where are you?

it looks like your post was moved. Here is a link to your thread. I think people have misunderstood your question since it's no longer in the context of this thread.

My family has never gone that route in 8 generations of living in NC. I sure hope that my kids will keep the streak alive. I have never known a friend that went that route. It is ok and acceptable in many circles. in mine it is not.

Uncletupelo, You have it together my friend. All the liberals will hate your feeling of racial pride though. I would like to have a beer with you.

Really? Don't people have jobs and bills and LIVES to worry about? I don't have time to give a flying you know what who you date/mix your genes with. I didn't know it was still an issue - I assumed people had more important things to do.
