I'm in Raleigh, and they're now marketing this service to us here. I have DirecTV and am considering switching over, but DTV's DVR is fantastic - the best I've ever used. TWC tells me their new signature home DVR service is the best....can someone with experience tell me how it compares? Maybe some screen shots or feedback?

Thanks.

Their Signature service is also $200/month.

I know, but what my goal is here with this thread is to compare the DVR quality to DirecTV. The cost would be less for me if I switched over to TWC's TV service.

What kind of information are you looking for on the DVR?

One thing I have noticed different about TWC DVR (or that I have not figured out to do) is search by word or actor. For example, when searching TWC, it searches shows (either OnDemand or listings) based on the first word of the title. With Verizon Fios, I could search with one word, and it would return all listings that had that word somewhere in the title.

How the screens look, how it functions, how it compares to DTV, etc. Anything anyone can offer up.

How would it be less? I have three DTV DVRs which two are HD and I only pay a little over $100 a month. You must have a lot of premium channels or a ton of receivers one.
