Streetracing
Can anyone tell me what streets are good for street racing here in Charlotte? I just moved here from California a few weeks ago with my parents and havent found any good streets to race on yet. Also where do all the other street racers hang out? BTW im in South Charlotte

Wrong forum. We're not real big on flouting the law and endangering innocent people here.
And if you're serious I hope you come to your senses. If you want to race go to the dragway in Concord and get involved with the amateurs.

Wow this town must not be big on street racing I take it? Back in Cali we had many car groups who would meet up at night just to street race and I thought that Charlotte would be the same. I guess not!!!

There have been some recent street racing dealths in the area so everyone is trying to "crack down" and stop street racing.

Call me crazy, but I think you'll find "racers" at race tracks and drag strips in the area...

Charlotte does not tolerate streetracing one bit. I am sure you will find some teenagers/young adults who do it but if your caught they can put you in jail.

Assuming you make it that far if you hurt someone.
Racing belongs on a track, not the streets.

You could try Johnston Rd just south of Pineville Matthews Rd. We all meet up in the parking lot of 8050 Corporate Center Drive and race up and down Johnston and Carmel. Just Mapquest it, it's very easy to find.
