Default Ballantyne Village Y?

This Y will be closest to our temp housing. Does anyone know what the rules are re: children at the pool? I've been turned away from public pools in the past because I am one adult with three children. I'm hoping that I can take the children to the Ballantyne Village Y frequently during the summer for water play.

Thanks.

I have been to that Y before and they have an awesome kid pool. Lots of fun slides and sprinklers! My son loves it there.

I'm a member so I can answer most of these for you.

The Village Y is an Express version of the Morrison branch right down the road. No kids under 18 are allowed. No pool or anything like that just free weights, a studio for classes and a TON of cardio eqpt.

The Morrison branch is the much larger version with daycare, children activities, ball feilds, pool, etc..

I have a Metro membership that allows me to go to any of them. For myself, fiance and our 5 yr old its $74 a month.

Do you think you might be confused? Because when I read Charlottean's post, sounds like you're not at Ballantyne Village Y?

Thanks, Charlottean! When you say 'down the road', that means walking distance, yes?

Yes, you could walk to it if you wanted. It's two turns but about 3 miles away.

The Ballantyne Village Y does not have a pool..However, the MOrrison YMCA does have an outdoor pool. However, it is closed for the season I believe.
