Am not looking for walmart or petsmart or such chains. Trying to find a good mom&pop type store that deals only or mostly in pet-fish. All my google hits seem to be fish for consumption! Lol! If you know of any, or have had good experience with any, please pass on the info. I live in Hsvl, but don't mind driving all over the place. Thanks.
I was going to suggest Fintastic as well. It's in Steele Creek right off 485, in Ayrsley.

Please don't purchase from Petland! They sell puppy mill puppies and have had numerous complaints against them. In terms of fish, every fish I bought there (before I learned of the puppy mill connection) died very quickly. Last time I went there they had a whole tank of fish that had been written on! They had hearts, stars etc. actually written on their body with some sort of marker. As if they were not living creatures.

I would NEVER buy a puppy from Petland (Arboretum) but I have had great luck with their saltwater fish. Just a data point. I have three salt tanks and shop them and Fintastic.
very nice! I have had several tanks and currently have a 24 gallon set up.
What size is the one in the pics you posted now?
