i want to get a chip filled. it's small and shouldn't be a problem to fill. any recommendations for a business to come do this - i'm at work near uptown. and what's the usual cost for a simple fill like that?

found one! can i just say ... don't call Safe Lite. they must be a rip off because they quoted $95 and the local places i called were around $50.

I called my insurance company when I got one a couple years ago. They sent someone out for free. I didn't pay anything. I didnt see my premiums go up either.

I think my deductible was in the $500 range. They still payed for it. It might be different depending on the insurer.

Several insurers will sent out at no cost to repair a windshield, as it saves them money in the long run as the cost of replacing is way more than most deductibles.

There is a place in South Blvd( dont remember the name) but advertises big that do it free of cost.
