Well . . . I guess we have run out of suggestions for getting that annoying bird to go away!

I am still surfing trying to see if I can find a website w/ suggestions for making annoying birds vacate the premises.

Here is one woman's take on how to cope w/ night singing birds:

Listen to the Mockingbird

She says that the night time calls are a male mockingbird's love calls - he is trying to find a mate! The calls stop once he and the Mrs. have settled in. I guess that explains why he is moving around and not staying in one spot.

Y'all are listening to Barry White, not "sounds of the ocean."

Playing Barry White really loud with the window open and the sound of a 'love machine' would do it.

Of course the neighbors might still be screaming but at least you won't hear the bird.

HeeHeeHee. Yep, that might drown it out . . .

While surfing on the subject, I found this amusing read . . . seems a Mockingbird was driving these neighbors in Brooklyn nuts at 3 am!!!

He finally gave up and flew off and I'm pretty sure I saw the mockingbirds give each other a high five. LOL.
As far as I know mockingbirds can only give a high four!

I have robins in my trees that wake me up at all hours of the night and early morning. It's unfortunate but please stick with a non-lethal method. I like the snake in the tree idea.

Wonder if playing the call of a hawk would scare the bird off??? Would that be playing dirty w/ mother nature?
