I understand your position... and personally, I guess I don't have a problem with it if someone wants to teach their kids responsible alcohol comsumption... but you'd have to have lived in Madison, WI to understand that this change in law was just a way to legalize After Prom binge drinking and high school keg parties on the weekends. THAT I am NOT ok with. My brother was a part of that crowd (before the law change) and I don't like it one bit.

Hmmm, Nancy... this gal who I was talking to is a native of OH ( like I am) so perhaps she's not aware.

That's funny.

In So Cal you can buy everything at the grocery store so when we moved here I knew DH had bought some premixed (with alcohol) margarita mix, so when I went to buy more I just figured the store was out, then they tell me I have to go to the ABC store.

hmmm. I mis-spoke. I'm not an OH Native. SHE is a native of OH. I am currently in OH (previously So Cal, previously Wisconsin).

I guess while in So Cal, I didn't do a lot of drinking. I was pregnant or nursing a lot of the time we lived there so, no alcohol for me.

We had to leave a bottle of sparkling white Proseco at the checkout one fine Sunday morning. No Mimosas for us on that brunch!!

Wife just got back from PA, where one must go to the ABC store for not just liquor, but wine also. And then, you have to go to a diffrent beer store for beer! What a pain!
